September Fun on Seven Mile Island: Music, Food & Fall Festivities
September is one of the best times to enjoy Avalon and Stone Harbor. The summer crowds begin to thin, the weather is still beautiful, and there are plenty of reasons to spend a weekend on Seven Mile Island.

Saturday, September 19 – Avalon Lions Club “The Fabulous Greaseband” Dance Party
Get ready for a night of music and dancing when the Avalon Lions Club hosts The Fabulous Greaseband at Avalon Community Hall!
Guests are welcome to bring their own beverages and light fare, with ice provided. Admission is $35 per person, and tickets are limited.
Advance ticket sales and table reservations are available at Avalon Community Hall on Mondays and Fridays from 10:00 AM to noon. Payment is by cash or check made payable to Avalon Lions Club; credit cards are not accepted. Reservations must be accompanied by payment.

Friday, September 25 – Savor en Blanc
Put on your best white attire and head to 96th Street in Stone Harbor for a beautiful evening under the twinkling lights!
Savor en Blanc brings friends together for an evening of live music, dancing, food, drinks and fun. Bring your favorite beverages and snacks, gather your friends and enjoy one of Stone Harbor’s prettiest September nights.
The festivities begin at dusk, and tickets are available at the Stone Harbor Welcome Center, 212 96th Street.
Saturday, September 26 – Savor September Stone Harbor
The fun continues Saturday with Savor September, an all-day celebration on 96th Street featuring local flavors, music and shopping.
From noon to 5:00 PM, enjoy tastings from local breweries and wineries along with food vendors, talented artisans and live local music. The bar tent remains open until 7:00 PM, giving you plenty of time to eat, drink, shop and enjoy the atmosphere.
There’s fun for the kids, too, including a hay slide, clam shell painting and crafts, making this a great event for the whole family.
Enjoy September at the Shore
