I am sorry there are only 5 stars above to rate Miriam Kauterman and her excellent and professional real estate agency. Sometimes the stars do align and this was a perfect example. When it came time to sell our Avalon property, I vetted all of the real estate agencies in Avalon. Initially working via phone, email from out of state and also during the Corona virus I received responses from some, not all. Some filled me with statistics and what their battalions of teamwork would do to enhance and promote the sale. So much filler!
Miriam Kauterman stood out head and shoulders above the rest. She responded immediately and listened. She was thorough in her explanations and knowledge of how the process would work. We communicated several times daily. Miriam called me and then always responded to my calls answering every question. She put the word out through comprehensive advertising, listed the property and within 6 weeks she had a viable buyer. We were very happy with selling price.
When the contract arrived for me to sign, Miriam sat at the other end of the phone and went through each page item, line by line. She made sure I understood the language and meaning of the legalese.
Miriam supported our family outside of wearing her her real estate hat. When I arrived in Avalon for the summer there was Miriam arriving to make sure we were alright, bringing dinner, home made soup. when I had to plan my mother's memorial service Miriam supplied the perfect baker for cookies, her Secretary Diana's daughter Brittany. Miriam became my go to for all information, resolving any issues that did not even impact real estate. The closing date came and went without a hitch. The property was quickly and successfully sold thanks to Miriam at Avalon/Stone Harbor Real Estate.
From the beginning, we had the upmost faith and confidence in Miriam and absolutely recommend Avalon/Stone Harbor Real Estate. Something good comes out of everything. Miriam became a friend.

Joe is very responsive, has extensive knowledge of the New Jersey Shore area and worked very hard for our family purchase in Avalon, NJ. He followed up on detail critical to making the major decision of a second home purchase. Miriam is the best! Her knowledge of the Avalon housing market was invaluable in selling our home. She personally guided us through every phase of the selling process from a thorough analysis of the market and our competition to house preparation, including staging advice, to negotiations, which were difficult at times, to settlement. Miriam's years of experience in real estate were evident in her approach to selling the house. The fact that she is a long-time resident of Avalon is extremely helpful in that she knows where to go or to whom to go to get things done. Her familiarity with and willingness to reach out to real estate agents at other agencies is important in such a competitive environment. We would gladly work with Miriam, and her friendly, competent office staff, anytime. Again, Miriam at Premier Homes (now, Avalon/Stone Harbor Real Estate) is just the best!
